Heh. If this is a story about Ocularis, well, it'll be interesting to
follow what the Ocularis people do (BTW, isn't that a cheezmatic
name?)...but I heard an interview with the developer, and I personally am
sorta scratching my head at some of his assumptions...such as that blind
people don't need very many formatting controls in their word processors,
or that typing in commands at a Unix prompt is too complicated for blind
folks, and some others that are just not coming to mind just at the moment.
I do think it's a fine and worthy goal to have an easy to install Linux
distro for folks who don't really care to know the innards of their OS or
whatever...but while I'll certainly have a look at Ocularis, I think I'll
stick with a Speakup-enaboed Debian or Slackware. (For info on Speakup, see
