I rebooted because it was getting late, I had to sleep. I noticed the
problem the next day. So it's not a real reboot, more like a
"shutdown-and-start-the-next-day-again".

Thanks for the hint, never changed the default settings because I don't use
OE much, I had to use it this time and haven't looked at the settings. I'll
take a look at them if I have to use OE for some time. I just changed the
settings from HTML or rich text to the other option, maybe that helps.
