Joey,

Sendmail has an option that lets you diable relay and provides several
anti-spam filters.  I haven't done the research into the how of setting
it up yet so I can't tell you how but my can it do it research says it's
doable.  I have played with it a little in the linuxconf interface and
managed to completely lock down my sendmail, even from internal users:(

Either get the O'Reilly book "Sendmail" or dig through the docs that
come with the source.
