[NTLUG:Discuss] Oracle install fails on eServer 2.3

I've been to the Caldera knowledge base and it is specific to Oracle 8.1.5.
I've followed those instructions. I haven't looked at RedHat, but the
Oracle consultant here has it working fine on RedHat 6.2.

This problem appears to be specific to eServer 2.3. I have a workstation
with eDesktop 2.4 and the same Oracle installs fine.

  I've had similar problems under redhat.  Try going back to the Oracle
web site (or the caldera one), and look for Oracle 8.1 install under linux
problems.  IF I remember rightly, they had a fix online for this
installation bug.
