Yes - I know what you mean. Internet America are certainly 'agnostic'
in this matter. However, I have probably only phoned customer support
about 3 times in the past 6 years - the first time "How do I set it up
under Linux?" - they told me that they didn't support Linux directly - but
had no problems with me using it if it would work. Then they game me the
web site of some other member who had written up an Internet-America/Linux
HOWTO. One other time I had a problem, they redirected me to a different
support guy "who uses Linux at home" - and who was very helpful.

I don't know how much more useful an ISP who "Supports Linux" would have
been. I'd rather have an ISP who you don't *have* to call for support
than one whose customer support is good.

Well, maybe I've just been lucky.
