[NTLUG:Discuss] Athlon incompatibilities?

You might want to look at http://www.pogolinux.com

They have a reasonably configured 1Ghz Athlon system
which might be less expensive than trying to build
one on your own. I recommended the machine to
someone at work and they bought one.... however, it
now runs WinME instead of Linux, they still thought
it was a great deal though.

There's not too much to speak of as far as compatibility
is concerned. Most of the issues surrounded the HW...
all other issues as far as the kernel goes have been
resolved.

I don't think you'll have any problems running
an AMD machine, several people in NTLUG run em today.

Regards,
Chris
