[NTLUG:Discuss] I need 2.4 kernel installation help and

Is there a web site that has a step by step listing of how to update the
kernel (on a slackware box for instance) to 2.4?

I downloaded the kernel, put it in usr/src/linux-2.4.0, changed the symlink,
linux, to point to the new kernel.    Ran - make mrproper, make menuconfig,
make bzImage, make dep, make modules, make modules_install.   Copied the new
bzImage to /boot. Edited lilo.conf, ran lilo, rebooted and WHAM! modprobe
can't find module eth1.  The 3c509.o is in the
/lib/modules/2.4.0/kernel/drivers/net directory.

What am I missing?  What went wrong?

and does anyone have an example of how to use netfilter to accomplish
Destination NAT (real world address 4.2.2.2 = private address 10.0.0.2)
