Keep an eye on www.dslreports.com There is a SWBell spreadsheet on the internet, that disappears and reappears from time to time that has due dates on it, and it is very accurate. To finish my elation at being back on ADSL...

We've been down twice since we got back with SWBell / Augustnet. It's higher to go with augustnet, but Prodigy is doing the providing for SWBell, and I won't deal with them since they ripped me off on the first go around... Most of you are too young to remember that Prodigy was a pre-internet dial up service like AOL, that was owned by Sears, AD supported, and cost practically nothing. ($6.95 a month I think). They had to go to a metered service, and I had already paid a year in advance and they sent me a bill for the last month I paid for over $90! So we hate them, and never did pay that bill.

I've done two ADSL installs, and have been happy with each.
