[NTLUG:Discuss] Anyone runs ftp, mail server, httpd and get catched from @home

they have another document called something like "rules of the road" which 
makes talk about how those that *do* run servers but don't suck large      
enough bandwidth to get their attention is "below the radar".  i'm sure    
there's a <wink> in there somewhere that i keep missing.  i think it's     
like this:  at&t doesn't go looking for people running servers, but if you 
suck enough bandwidth to get their attention, well, then you've got their  
attention and they'll tell you to stop running your server.                
                                                                           
i run telnet, ftp, dns, pop3, imap, ssh, http, smtp (and probably a few    
others that i can't think of right now), all properly tcpdwrapped and      
ipchained for firewall purposes.                                           
                                                                           
i'm sure i'm not the *only* one on @home that does this  ;)   i've never   
had a problem with the "authroities"  :)
