Nah, I have @home, and if you can get the IP address assigned to your
machine's name (they should have actually provided an IP address, gateway,
etc.), you can set up as a static IP. In the year and a bit since I got
@home, my IP address hasn't changed, even though they say it *can*
change...well, it did change when I moved, but they have their systems set
up very strangely, in that accounts are attached to physical addresses and
not people. That became a long story, but never mind. ... Anyway, you
should be able to set up with the IP address, gateway, and DNS you should
have gotten when your cable was installed.
