@Home's email is excite and it has been very troublesome.  It 
seems to be working currently, but for weeks, it was cobbled in 
a bad way.

I have @Home and it works fine.  It tells you that it is using 
DHCP, but they really are static.  I have a AT&T furinished 
modem, a $19 hub, a WIN98 box and a Linux 6.0 box on it.  I pay 
$4.95 for the second IP.   If anyone needs help getting it set 
up, I can share what limited info I have.
