We just had a discussion on this subject, and we had a lot of good input - a
recap would point out that there are basically 2 lines of thought:
(1) Use Linux box(es).
(2) Buy commercial product.
But the best approach is really going to depend on your need and situation.
Be a little more specific and I'll bet you will get a bunch of good
responses out of this group.
