Sendmail doesn't support Maildir.  It does however allow you to use
whatever local delivery agent you want.  Instead of using procmail, as
most distros do, you can setup Maildrop as the local delivery agent (see
the Mlocal command in sendmail.cf) to give you Maildir support.  Maildrop
can be found at http://www.flounder.net/~mrsam/maildrop/.
