Screenshots of various linux users' desktops might be a nice feature to 
put up on the site somewhere.  That way, people who haven't used linux or
maybe even haven't even seen it in action can see a snapshot of what life 
in linux-land is like.  You could collect various shots of people using
different applications and, probably most helpful, different window 
managers.  If you do this, might I suggest one other thing: make 
thumbnails that link to the actual screenshot -- those files can get big 
and a lot of them on one page is just bad news.

I'll go ahead and volunteer a screenshot for you - my most recent
screenshot can be seen at http://tjbell.dhs.org/~tj/scrshot.jpg
