Hello:

I am trying to follow the instructions at:
http://www.thelinuxpimp.com/main/sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=7
to set-up a pop3s server so that I can retrieve remote email
over an encrypted connection.

My machine is a gresh copy of RedHat Linux 7.

Here is what I did:
cd /usr/share/ssl/certs
make stunnel.pem
I answered all of the questions in creating the certificate.
Everything looks fine up until now.

Then, I ran:
stunnel -f -d pop3s -l /usr/sbin/ipop3d

It loaded fine and reported this message:
LOG5[1044:1024]: stunnel 3.8 on i386-redhat-linux-gnu PTHREAD+LIBWRAP

So, I configured kmail to use that server on port 995 and tried
to check my mail. The server them reported these messages:
LOG5[1052:1026]: ipop3d connected from 192.168.1.1:1055
LOG3[1053:1026]: execvp: No such file or directory (2)
LOG3[1052:1026]: SSL_accept: error:00000000::lib(0) :func(0) :reason(0)

and Kmail said that it failed to open the mail server.

Has anyone gotten pop3s working on RedHat 7?

Thanks,
	Neil.
