[NTLUG:Discuss] redhat 7.1 compile issue

O.K. Manual editing means using a text editor like emacs or vim (the
latter is my preference) and actually opening the file and editing it. 
When you use a tool such as config or menuconfig (again, I advise
against using xconfig) you need not edit every option.
