BTW, the Win98SE DHCP driver (vdhcp.386) is broken.  Use a Win98FE vdhcp.386
instead.
I've done a packet trace of the communications between a W98SE box and a
Linux DHCP server that was across a router.  I saw where the request was
made and the offer given, but the ACK was never sent by the W98SE client.
Can you say BRo*KeN.

And HEY! I'm all for Linux becoming easier to use and replacing W* at the
desktop.
