This definitely works, I do this now (dual boot & tell VMware to use the raw
partition). BTW, if you want PartitionMagic to shrink W2K, you need to have 2
floppy disks: 1) a DOS boot floppy, 2) the PQmagic programs. Boot to DOS,
then put the other floppy in and run PQmagic from it. This procedure is
documented in the PQmagic book.
See DOS is good for something beside Doom, Doom2, System-Shock, Duke-Nukem,
etc. :-)
