But you know... somehow I don't have a problem sending SuSE $50
for 7 CD's... even at our NTLUG prices, $50 for 7 CD's is pretty
good. Just for the record, here's SuSE's reply to my less
than polite email about their new eval. They were very
nice in their reply. Seems they view the "live eval" as being
a very positive thing... and in a way, I see their point...
if you believe the goal is to get Windows folks to try Linux,
the "live eval" is not a bad idea. You can figure that
many serious Linux users will either download and hack their
own distribution, or support their favorite by buying a
boxed version (thus helping to ensure their existence tomorrow).
