  I've had experience with the linksys. It works well, and is relatively
cheap.

 It does NAT, and comes programmed by default with a few dhcp addresses,
so you can hook up a linux or windows box with "server assigned ip"
address, use your web browser to hook up to it, and finish the
configuration. The web pages are self explanatory to a person who
understands NAT and routing in general.

 I highly recommend one. It is much cheaper than doing a linux router box,
though that works well also.
