[NTLUG:Discuss] red hat 7.1 viris mandrake 8.0

Mandrake 8.0 focuses on the desktop experience.  When it works, it's
very pretty.  Not designed IMHO for the hacker... more for the end
user.

Redhat 7.1 is more general in nature... could be used for servers, or
for a desktop.... granted, many use Mandrake in a server scenario... but
I have wonder "why"?  I guess Mandrake does have a bit of performance
advantage in that the binaries are optimized for Pentium architectures.
