[NTLUG:Discuss] mailman problem

I hope one of you mailman guru's can put me straight on this. I have
checked everything in the INSTALL file. I get the following in
/var/log/mail.log when I try to send to my test list.

The important line seems to be "fatal: open dictionary: need "type:name"
form: /home/mailman/mmaliases".

I have run the "postaliases" program as user mailman per the INSTALL
doc.
