I just got the demo disk from AppGen for "MyBooks" (supposed to be a QuickBooks
replacement).  I haven't installed it yet, but you can request a free demo CD
by visiting their website.

My new Epson 1640SU works fine through the USB port (I bought it to use its
SCSI port, but thought I'd give the USB port a try first...it's worked so well
that I've decided to just leave it there, rather than switching to SCSI).
