: I've looked through freshmeat and didn't find any. A friend of mine found
: a RISK type, turn based, multiplayer strategy game on the internet and I was
: wondering if there is anything similar that I could run here on my server.
: I purchased tradewars back during the BBS days, and I ran that on my BBS,
: but I'm not interested in pursuing THAT type of game.
This may not be the kind of strategy game you are looking for, but Loki
is about to release a new RTS-style game called Kohan. (Sidenote: most
RTS games these days are like all the others. Kohan not a "me too"
RTS, IMHO.) I've played the demo so much it's a little embarrassing...
I'm hooked on it. It is supposed to be published next week sometime
(fingers crossed).
