I worked for Compaq for 6 years before I got let go in the
last 'restructuring' program. We were destroying ourselves
just fine without anyone elses help.
Our stock price went from $50 to $25 before the market
downturn. We were a downturn leader. Now it's around $15.
We did that all by ourselves.
jack - still have about 1000 compaq options at $50 / share.
