I spoke with them last night. The guy I talked to said they've been told to
tell customers not to worry, that there won't be any change in service. He
took this to mean that directlink's in the process of being sold, and the
deal just hasn't been completed. He didn't have any details, but thought in a
week or so it should be clear what's happening. The hope is that directlink's
assets will be acquired by another company, with the end-user noticing no
change.
I guess that's what happened a year or two ago when Directlink was acquired
by ARC, so maybe there's nothing to worry about. Still, I wish there were
some confirmation about all this.
