Dare I suggest you use Linux? :)

Actually, I don't like or trust WindowsME.  Win98se is the last version of
windows I will use.  Windows2000pro is semi-okay.  So try "downgrading" your
OS for better performance.

the the 250mb Internal Zip Drive to write to a 100mb Disk, the system
freezes for over a minute. Can anyone tell me why this happens, or how to
prevent it?
