I've seen this on systems that boot directly into X. Is this the case
with your setup?

Subject: [NTLUG:Discuss] Laptop Redhat 7.1
My laptop has been running Redhat 7.0 without problem. When I attempted
to upgrade to 7.1 I ran into some problems. Initially the install
seemed to be successful. When I boot LILO succeeds and Linux runs
through the normal boot starting process. The screen then goes black
and a Linux prompt never occurs.
If I do a hard boot after this, I get several messages saying things
like:
Inode 128372 i_blocks is 64, should be 24.
Has anyone experienced a similar situation with a laptop running Redhat
7.1?
