Howdy,

I had a Canon BJC on a windoze machine that printed from networked Linux
machines just fine.

Are you using CUPS or LPT and what distro(s)?

The print filter for the BJC has an option to automatically eject the
pages and continue or not.  I set that and it worked fine with text and
GS both.

I now use CUPS and it works like a charm also.  There could be some
Samba induced weirdness that is causing yor problem.  Not sure what
setting that would be, though.
