[NTLUG:Discuss] gcc 3.0-6

I performed the rpm -Uvh described below but still get the following error:
gcc-objc >= 2.96-94 is needed by gcc3-objc-3.0-6
libgcj >= 2.96-26 is needed by libgcj3-3.0-6
I am running gcc 2.96-85 currently . Also, I performed a rpm -Uvh on
libgcj-2.96-24.i386.rpm.
(I had no problem installing gcc3.0 on my PC but have had no luck on the
laptop.)
