[NTLUG:Discuss] slightly off topic, but still a *nix...

I just found one answer:
sleep in the script, nohup and & on the command line, and force quit if 
you have to.
Not clean and neat, but it looks like it is going to work.

If anyone has any other suggestions, I am all ears.
