[NTLUG:Discuss] email question

Does anyone know how to define an email client to pull emails from
hotmail?  I know hotmail is not a POP server, but I haven't been able to
find any references as to how any of the existing windows programs are
able to hit hotmail and get emails from them.

I'm currently using evolution 0.13 (Mandrake 8.1); would I need an
additional program as an interface or is there a simple definition such
as for a POP/SMTP server?
