setup mgetty for dial-in access:

This was what I used initially. I didn't have any difficulty getting it to
work.
The biggest problem you may have is getting a high-speed dial-up connection
through your employer's PBX system. On a lot of PBXs ~2400 bps may be the
best you can do. If you can get a direct analog line then do so, that way
you may get up to 28 Kbps.
