[NTLUG:Discuss] Kernel config acting up

  If you got your kernel from mandrake or redhat, download it from
www.kernel.org instead.  I've had this kind of thing happen with a vendor
provided kernel source code tree, as they tend to put things into the
kernel that are not successfully "merged", and don't catch it with their
build configuration.
