[NTLUG:Discuss] MS XP Throw it in the trash!

Which Win OS was WORST at the time of it's introduction? From my
recollection...

Windows 3.x - was the first usable version of Windows solitaire. Still, 3.1
couldn't compete with the awesome (at the time) OS/2 2.0.

Windows 3.11 - (AKA Win4Workgroups). Buggy "UAE" (AKA "GPF") crap.

Windows NT 3.x - Hands down winner of our little contest. Slower than OS/2
2.x, and it's promised compatibility was almost non-existent. HUGE
disappointment to many developers who lost their shirt trying to ride this
train to nowhere.

Windows95 - Arguably, warts and all, the most significant and, clearly, the
only worthwhile OS ever released by MS other than DOS. First (and last) MS
OS I ever purchased where I didn't feel deep down it was a total waste of
money.

Windows NT 4.0 - After years of hotfixes and "hit and miss" service packs,
NT4 has finally become a usable and reasonably reliable OS for non-mission
critical systems. MS has discontinued support for NT4.

Windows98 - Ok, however, bug fixes should not be marketed as an OS.

WindowsME - Proof positive of MS' contempt for their customers.

Just to put it in perspective, could someone smarter than me, with a
better memory than mine, or just with more experience then me, please
give their opinion on which looked the worst at the time of its
introduction: Windows 3.1, Windows 95, or Windows NT 4.0, or your choice
of versions. A little trot down memory lane music, if you please, so to
speak.
