I dunno if this is of interest to anybody (espcially the laid-off anybodies), but
there seems to be lots of opportunity in the teaching fields, both at the secondary
level and college level, in the Dallas area.  Sure, the pay's not right up there
with what you were making the month before, but it sure as hell beats the $274 max
you can get from TWC.  Between my new life as a math teacher and teaching comm.
college at night, I'm making a little less than before the Big F*, but it's a
paycheck (two actually), which beats being unemployed hands-down.
