[NTLUG:Discuss] Linux on a Laptop?

I have just resized the partition on a pretty new Dell laptop (Inspiron
4100) and am ready to set it up as a Win2k/Debian dual boot.

Here's my question: will the docking station cause me massive difficulties
in the installation? I need to be able to use the system with or without the
station.

Thanks, meant to make it yesterday but I was a bit cash poor to drive in
from Greenville.
