[NTLUG:Discuss] help - I forgot how to broadcast a server name...

I have Linux and Win95 boxes on a small home network and I am trying to 
use a VNC viewer on a Win95 box to see a VNC server on a Linux box ... 
problem: the view keeps saying: "Failed to get server address. Did you 
type the host name correctly?"

There is some kind of a short command (d(something)name?) on Linux I can 
use to manually publish the host name, but I cannot remember it - 
please, help.
