Background ... I had a static IP with ATT at HOME - we all know where that
went. The security techs at work let in through the fire wall because
they knew my IP.
They also support VPN from remote workstations (without static IPS)
running either Windows NT, or 2000. I understand that it should be
possible to do the same for a workstation running Linux - is that true?
If it should be possible, how would I set up my end - the workstation
(Red Hat Linux 7.1, soon to go 7.2), and assuming they would have to do
something different for their end, what is that, and does anyone have
any suggestions for convincing them to go to the effort?
Thanks in advance for any help offered.
