Daniel:

I have these items in my smb.conf file:
[printers]
   comment = All Printers
   path = /var/spool/samba
   browseable = no
# Set public = yes to allow user 'guest account' to print
   public = yes
   guest ok = yes
   writable = yes
   printable = yes

I also noticed that there is this error message in the
/var/log/samba/neillaptop.log
file:
[2001/12/07 21:17:00, 0] smbd/service.c:make_connection(238)
  neillaptop (192.168.1.2) couldn't find service
::{2227a280-3aea-1069-a2de-08002b30309d}

I am attaching my smb.conf file for your reference.

Does this shed any light?

Thanks,
	Neil.
