I'm curious about why you would go back to 6.2 instead of up to 7.1? 

FWIW, 7.1 is on dhcp 2.0p15.

dhcp-2.0-12.  It's what ships with RH7.0 (there've
been no updates for this package so far).

It's really not that big of a deal, since I'm blocking
these incoming packets at the firewall, but I can
certainly try compiling from the latest source.  I
haven't tried that yet.  And besides, I've quit using
the broken pile of spit known as RH7.0 in production
anyway.  I've gone back to RH6.2 with RH's latest updates.
