1.0 is a lot better, and the problem you were having with the trash can
be fixed. there is a setting in there that lets you remove the mail or
mark for removal. I have been using Evolution since it came out, bugs
and all. Overall I say I like it and recommend it. You also have to
figure I migrated from windows and Outlook, Linux only yusers may not
like it. If you like Outlook, you will like evolution. There are a lot
of nice features like just right click on an e-mail and choose create a
filter for it and it gives you choices on how you want to filter it. I
must stop babbling now, been up all night with delayed flights to get
back home, so if this does not make sense, sorry.

I use this mail client. I not quite sure how I like it though. It
looks nice, has a lot of different bits that I like, but it isn't quite
what I want in a mail client. When you get mail in, it doesn't list
the new emails together. Even if you click the column with the date and
time, I still get emails spread around. Another thing I don't like is
when you select an email and click on the trash can, it only marks that
email for deletion. You, then, have to go in and "Purge" the emails to
delete them.

I have only have used this client for about a week, AND my version is
only .13. I have seen that 1.0 is out there, and it may be better.

If all of my rants are fixable somewhere in the settings, PLEASE let me
know!!

I have used evolution and find it to be extremely similar to Outlook. It
is a good, solid product which can do Pop3 or IMap, and you don't have
to worry about those damned scripted virii which affect that "other" OS.
