cheapbytes.com is a good place to purchase Linux. They actually send
you CD's (pitted aluminum) instead of CDR's. I don't know what
linuxcentral sends, but I am glad to see another resource to price
shop.
Oh, and believe me, it is a much better use of my time to buy these
disks online, then to try to fight for an FTP slot, fight for bandwidth,
waste the disk space of the 640 Mg images per CD, wait for the
CD's to burn, hope they succeed, then label the disks. Save the
hassle, and buy it from one of those two websites. If you can, get
a group buy together, and the shipping is that much less.
