[NTLUG:Discuss] A Laptop

I am using a Dell Latitude C800 with a Xircom RealPort Combo Card
(10/100 Lan + 56K modem), running Red Hat 7.1 - it is a workstation, not
a playstation, so I cannot speak to games and movies particularly, and
of course it is Linux so sound is not always there. But it is doing
everything I need to do. When installing, no matter what resolution and
color depth I selected for display, "test" always yielded the same, and
I found that unless I selected what "test" said to use GUI (xwindows)
wouldn't come up.
Sorry if I am not as adventurous as you would like, but I hope this helps.
