If you are looking for some type of remote access solution,
Compaq makes a "RIB" (Remote Insight Board) that redirects
keyboard, video and a whole lot more to a Web browser.  The
RIB board has a battery pack on it, and is accessible even when the
server is turned off.  You can upgrade the firmware, boot virtual
floppy disks; all sorts of neat stuff.  They go for ~$1500, I think.
Sun also has something called RSC (Remote System Control) which
I've yet to use.
