Related... you might want to run an ntp server instead of just doing
a periodic cron update.  Use ntpd or xntpd (depending upon the age
of the SW you are using).


For small (home) sites, look at hitting a Stratum 3 or "higher"
server.  Larger sites can hit the public Stratum 1 servers out there.
(actually you can hit the Stratum 1's if you want... but try to
be nice)

Look in /usr/share/doc/packages/xntp/* on SuSE distribs.
