Sorry, I mean hostid, that is the hexadecimal
number assigned for the computer.
For your information, I had the hostname setup
incorrectly in /etc/hosts, so I could not get
the "hostid" command to work, after I reset
the hostname in /etc/hosts, the "hostid" command
works now.
Thanks guys, it was a false alarm.
