We use ATTBI and we get different ips everytime
we reboot, apparently the ips are dynamically
assigned - since it is dhcp,
ATT reassigns the ip everytime the dhcp
server restarts
On /var/log, check with your boot.msg:
it should show:
   dhcpcd: broadcasting DHCP_DISCOVER
   dhcpcd: DHCP_OFFER received from 12.242.99.33
   dhcpcd: broadcasting DHCP_REQUEST for 12.242.11.900
   dhcpcd: DHCP_ACK received from 12.242.99.33

   12.242.99.33 is your DNS server
12.242.11.900 is your ip assigned for the session
