I believe you are referring to the doc root.  Redhat puts that in
/var/www/html.  At least that's where it went on my system. ;)

Can someone tell me where Apache is placed in RedHat 7.3?  I have the bin,
and the conf file, but I need to edit the files that are found in htdocs,
