[NTLUG:Discuss] clock question

Here's a chance to show off your stuff!

My hardware clock is set to local time and when I reboot, the system time gets
offset by -5 hours (UTC). I fixed the systohc problem on shutdown and I thought
that I had found it on bootup, but evidently not. Somewhere between rc.initd
and init 3 state it applies a #@!%$ UTC offset to the clock. I don't see any
hwclock entries in any of the startup scripts, other than the ones that I
changed. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Fred
